ASHLEY LAWRENCE

 
Ashley began her dancing journey at the age of three. She started competing at the age of eight until she was eighteen with solos, duos, trios and groups dances. Ashley trained in all different styles of dance such as jazz, modern, stage and pointe but her main focus was ballet throughout the years. She put a lot of time and dedication in to complete all of her RAD ballet exams with success.
 
She has performed and shared her love of dance over the lower mainland. Ashley performed in the Nutcracker with the Surrey Orchestra, The Kidney Foundation, at senior homes and in her high school production of the musical Mamma Mia.
 
When Ashley was twelve, she had the opportunity to start student teaching at her dance studio. She got to experience teaching little dancers ballet and jazz, but also learned from her own teachers she looked up to. She loved being able to help the students reach their goals in growing as a dancer.
 
Ashley is looking forward to sharing her passion of dance with all the students at Artistic Edge Dance Academy.
