Heather Davies
BFA, BEd, S.R.B. Associate, PAA
Heather is a diverse choreographer, dance educator and adjudicator specializing in classical and contemporary ballet. She is a graduate of the York University BFA Honours Program, focusing on choreography and dance education as well as a graduate of The University of Ottawa’s BEd program specializing in elementary education. Heather is an accredited dance teacher through the Society of Russian Ballet and presents students annually for Vaganova exams. Her knowledge of ballet is diverse and includes training in Vaganova, Cecchetti and RAD methods allowing her to critique aspiring dancers with an intelligent and knowledgeable eye. Her extensive training also includes years of jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary and hip hop training. Heather is a strong believer in continuing education and continues to train as a dancer and educator to stay fresh and up to date with the ever-changing industry. Heather has worked as a choreographer, guest instructor and teacher throughout Canada. |
