Class Descriptions
Ballet

Ballet is a technical form of dance with its own syllabus.
We offer RAD Ballet taught by certified and caring instructors with an
abundance of experience.Optional RAD exams are given in the spring
time for all levels, pre-primary to Advanced 2. Grade 1 Ballet through
Advanced Ballet classes are 2 times per week. Ballet is the backbone for
all types of dance and all of our competitive jazz dancers are required to
incorporate Ballet as a part of their training.

Jazz

Jazz  is a form of dance that is constantly evolving.
Students will learn isloations of the body, work on technique, flexibilty
and be challenged with fun choreography taught by certified
instructors. Optional CDTA jazz exams are also given in the
spring time.

Lyrical

Lyrical is a form of dance that fuzes Modern dance, Ballet and Jazz
to tell a story through continuation of movement. Students
will work on technique and learn choreography filled with
graceful movement and emotion of the piece.











Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is a form of theatre combining song and dance.
Often musical theatre can incorporate lip-syncing rather than
singing. The students will learn creative and fun choreography
to tell the story of their musical. Jazz steps are used throughout the
choreography.

Acro

Acro involves use of flexibility and strength.
Students will work on flexibility and agility throughout the year to
master such skills as walkovers, isolations and partner work.



Hip Hop & Street Dance

Hip Hop and Street Dance include a wide range of styles
such as locking, popping, old skool and breaking. Students
will learn new and fun choreography set to upbeat music and
will have the opportunity to free style in class. Hiphop is a great
way to stay fit!

Tap

Tap is a form of dance where the students will learn to make
rhythm and sound with their tap shoes. The choreography is
set to music and a progressive set of moves will be taught
throughout the year.

Facility

Classes are taught in our air conditioned, fully equipped studios which
are located in a convenient shopping plaza in the community of Fraser
Heights.



Programs & Performances

We offer both recreational and competitive programs as well as
performance opportunities at our recitals and at events in the
community.




Fees

We want dance to be accessible to everyone so we keep our fees
reasonable and offer fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
