EMMA MIEBACH
Emma Miebach began her dance training at the age of four studying ballet, flamenco, and character dance at the Sonoma Conservatory of Dance and continued her ballet training at the American Ballet Academy in Salem, Oregon. Growing up she attended many prestigious summer dance programs such as American Ballet Theater, Boston Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet where she trained in many dance styles ranging from ballet, jazz, modern, character, and salsa. 

Currently she is attending Simon Fraser University, where she is majoring in Dance and minoring in Kinesiology. There she has had the privilege of working with renowned artists such as Justine Chambers, Megan Walker Straight, Tara Cheyenne Friendeberg, and Robert Kitsos. Emma has begun to develop her professional dancing career as a member with the company Coupé Dance & Co. She has also danced in the music video IdentifIcation, written and directed by John Voth, and performed with Bard on the Beach in the production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in their 2022 season. 

Emma’s passion for teaching began at a young age. Starting at the age of seven she was a teacher’s aid for the creative movement ballet classes and as she got older, became a substitute dance instructor.

​Emma will be starting her second season at Artistic Edge Dance Academy and hopes to provide the same care and support her instructors provided her. Through incorporating her love and knowledge of dance and anatomy, she aims to equip her students with a strong foundation based on anatomy and proper ballet technique in hopes of instilling healthy dancing and lifelong passion for dance.
