About Our Year End Recitals
We are very proud of the hard work that our staff and dancers put in each year to create a night to remember.
There is a lot of information on this page but please take the time to read it so you don't miss out on anything. Before you start you will need to know which show your dancer is in (they could be in both shows so check carefully). Click on the file below to double check! We have to 2 shows at the end of each year! 1) A Ballet Production 2) A Jazz Show The Ballet Production includes all of our ballet classes as well as a few of our jazz/hip-hop, lyrical, mini-movers and musical theatre classes. Each year we choose a popular story to tell through dance! Its always an incredible show! The Jazz Show includes all the remaining dance classes including jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, breakdance, tap, contemporary, acro and more. A mix of our recreational and competitive dances together on stage for 1 amazing night! *All files will be available for download in June |
In-Studio Rehearsals

Our In-Studio Rehearsals are held at the studio. Costumes, hair and make-up are not required for in-studio rehearsals. All dancers should arrive at the studio a minimum of 15 minutes early for their scheduled rehearsal time. Make sure you look for all the rehearsal times for each of your classes. You may have to come to more than just one in-studio rehearsal date if you are in multiple dances.
We ask that the parents just drop the dancers off because we need the entire studio, including the lobby, to rehearse. Click on the file below to download the In-Studio Rehearsal Schedule.

Theatre Rehearsals

Our 2018 Theatre Rehearsals are held at the theatre, The Surrey Arts Centre 13750 88th Avenue. Costumes, hair and make-up are required for theatre rehearsals. All dancers should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early before their scheduled rehearsal time. Parents are allowed downstairs in the dressing rooms but are not allowed backstage or in the theatre.....it's a surprise!

Recital Day |
Our 2018 Recitals are held at the theatre, The Surrey Arts Centre 13750 88th Avenue. All dancers should arrive 1 hour early on recital day with hair and make-up done. If your dancer is in multiple dances in the same show, make sure you download the show order so you can get your costume changes organized.
The hair instructions for the ballet production are specific to each class. Please refer to your hair and make-up sheet. The hair instructions for the jazz recital will be 2 French braids for everyone in every class. This makes it easier for all of the dancers who are in multiple classes and need to change. Where: The Surrey Arts Centre 13750 88th Avenue *Note: In addition to your group practice time, you are required to attend the "Finale Dance & Photo" practice time. Each year we take a group picture on stage in the theatre and practice the ending to our big show. It is important that all dancers attend. We have included that in the schedule. |

Everyone must have a ticket to get in to the theatre, including children. Our shows sell out so don't wait to the last minute.
Due to our shows selling out we have implicated a new policy to avoid disappointed parents. We will limit each family to 4 tickets up until 2 weeks before the show date. At that point we will open up sales to anyone and everyone at no limit. This gives everyone 2 full weeks to purchase at least 4 tickets for your family.
Each year we hire GTFX, the best videographers in the dance community, to capture the memories of our shows so you can have them forever! DVD's can be pre-ordered through the studio and will be received in the Summer. We will email you as soon as it is available!
Flowers are always a must so let us do the hard work for you! We go to a local nursery a pick out the brightest and freshest flowers to create mini bouquets for your dancer! Flowers are pre-ordered through the studio and can be picked up on the evening of the show, in the lobby.
Tickets: $20.00 for Adults/ $15.00 for Kids 5 years and under (plus tax per ticket). TICKETS SELL OUT SO DON'T WAIT!!
